If your Juul Pod is leaking, which can and does happen, then continue reading because we’re going to tell you some of the reasons why this can happen as well as what you can potentially do about it to resolve the issue.
When it comes to minor leaking with Juul Pods, it’s unfortunately something that occasionally happens. Frequently? From our perspective, not at all. But it does, as we said, “on occasion,” happen. There are a number of reasons why it can happen, which are as follows:
- Accidentally biting or squeezing the mouthpiece. If you’re doing this, don’t. Be gentle with it and it should treat you well by not leaking e-juice in your mouth.
- Puffing too aggressively can also cause a pod to leak. So if you’re ripping it too hard, try slowing it down and see if it continues to happen.
- Squeezing the sides of the pod too hard while inserting it can also cause some leakage. Just another reason to take it easy while you’re loading and puffing on your pods.
- Excessive humidity and drastic altitude change can cause your pods to leak. This means that if you’re flying, you might want to think twice because you’re about to experience a pretty drastic altitude change. These two factors can also induce a small amount of condensation, which may be noticeable upon close inspection.
- Defective product. On occasion, and we’ve experienced it, a pod shows up defective upon arrival. This is no wrong on your part and likely the result of a manufacturing mishap. If this is the case, if your pod is defective, then you should probably contact Juul’s customer support.
If you do have a leaky pod and it happens to get vape juice on you, be sure to wash it off with soap and water. In general, it’s best to avoid direct contact with the e-liquid. So if at all possible, avoid contact with the liquid entirely.
