Tekashi 6ix9ine inked a celebrity endorsement deal with Dummy Vapes back in February of this year and now that deal is at the center of a legal dispute between Dummy Vapes and one of its rivals. Dummy Vapes is suing Fume, a rival in the vaping space, for allegedly trying to interfere with their endorsement deal with Tekashi, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez.
According to TMZ Hip Hop, Fume attempted to lure the famous rapper into their fold with a $1 million offer. Apparently, the “Shaka Laka” rapper wasn’t adequately enticed by the offer but his girlfriend, Yailin la Mas Viral, took Fume up on a $250,000 celebrity endorsement contract.
The dispute between the two competing vape companies has landed in Miami-Dade Court. With millions of dollars at stake, it should be interesting to see what becomes of the lawsuit. Will Fume settle? Will Dummy Vapes win in court? Will Dummy Vapes drop their lawsuit? We can’t say but we’re definitely interested in seeing where this all goes and will try to keep you all updated.
If you’ve never heard of Dummy Vapes, they’re a disposable vape brand whose success may hinge on their partnership with Tekashi 6ix9ine. Their vapes come in a handful of different styles and include funky flavor names like Fizzy Lemon, Gangsta Punch and Brooklyn Blue.
Here’s an overview of their current product line:
- Dummy Vapes – This is their 8000 puffs device and it’s available in a bunch of different flavors like Stoopid Strawberry, Dummy Dream and 69 Black Ice.
- Dummy Vapes (1%) – For those who want less nicotine, not more, the 1% variant comes with, you guessed it, 1% nicotine content. It’s not available in as many different flavors as some of the other devices but there are still a fair number to choose from, like Alien Invasion and Bad Berry.
- Dummy Classic – Another 8000 puffs device, only it showcases a sleek metallic design. You can get it in Grape, Mint Ice and other flavors. Like the 1% model, its flavor options are a bit more limited than some of the other disposables that the company offers.
- Dummy XFinity – About $5 cheaper than the other models, the XFinity offers 6900 puffs, which sounds cool and fits the Tekashi dynamic but is noticeably less than the 8000 puffs offered by other Dummy Vapes.
- Dummy 24k Gold – Got cash to blow or possibly money to “invest” in a limited edition 24k gold vape signed by 6ix9ine? If you answered yes then this $999.00 USD limited edition vape might be the vape for you.
