This might not seem like much of a feat for some vaporizer manufacturers, to design a dry herb portable that costs less than $200, but for the DaVinci Vaporizer company– it’s quite the achievement. After all, DaVinci is well known in the world of portable vaporizers for their legendary dry herb vaping machines, but what they’re not known for is making cheap vapes. With their quality comes cost and that cost, generally, is a bit high in comparison to what some of the other manufacturers are offering. But this new vape, the MIQRO, is a bit of an exception. It’s not cheap in terms of quality, but it’s exactly that: it’s a cheap vaporizer.
Under $200
Then again, what you might consider to be cheap and what VapeHawk.com considers to be cheap might be two completely different things. But at less than $200, the MIQRO is a steal. It has essentially all of the qualities and features of the DaVinci IQ, but it’s way less expensive. And it’s smaller.
33% Smaller Than The IQ
The new MIQRO Vaporizer, while similar in a lot of ways to the IQ that precedes it, strays away from the IQ’s somewhat robust design and heads fully in the direction of portability. The IQ is definitely portable, easily fitting into a pocket and all that, but the MIQRO is that much smaller and easier to conceal. You might think that with its more compact design it loses out on features that make the IQ one of the best, but the reality is that it doesn’t lose much – it’s still an extremely solid vape just like its predecessor.
Keep On Going
One of the biggest downsides we see in many of the dry herb portable designs is the lack of a user-replace battery. When you can’t replace it, you’re left to recharge the device and waiting for a vape to charge can be a painful experience. This is why the MIQRO’s design, which allows for its two internal batteries to be quickly replaced, is worth mentioning. With it, you can pop out dead batteries when their juice runs out and replace them with charged ones to keep things going without the need to recharge anything. Definitely a nice feature to have if you’re one of the many that just can’t seem to keep anything charged.
Controlling The Oven
When it comes to controlling the oven in which the herbs are roasted — well, technically “vaporized” but you know what we mean — the MIQRO takes things a step further than most. Not only can you adjust the total capacity of the oven, making it practical and efficient to pack snappers (smaller amounts), you can control its temperature right down to the degree.
Smart Paths
While precision temperature controls are great, DaVinci kicked things up a notch by adding a feature that we’ve yet to see anywhere else as far as other dry herb portables are concerned and that’s its Smart Paths feature. This is advanced temperature programming that allows you to create custom temperature flows for your sessions. For instance, you can start off at a low temperature and then slowly move it up over the course of a few minutes before eventually blasting off into hyperspace at max temperature. Set it, use it later, and enjoy a feature that you just won’t see anywhere else (other than the IQ).
Clean Vapor, Good Vapor
Zirconium ceramic instead of glass – that’s where DaVinci went right. The Ascent has a glass pathway for its vapor and air to flow through, which is awesome in terms of taste and purity, but it’s a bit too fragile as some glass piece owners can attest to after having dropped a piece or two. So you can see where a material that’s inert like glass, so it still tastes great and all that, but twenty times stronger than glass could prove to be the smarter choice and that’s exactly what it is: the smarter choice. The result is some of the purest vapor that a vaporizer can produce so if you have some kind herbs to pack in it, you’re in for a real treat.
Buying Quality
With all that the MIQRO has to offer, it’s still surprisingly affordable. You can buy one direct from DaVinci for just $149 and not a penny more. And that friends, is what we call a bargain.
Looks doooooope. How is it only $150?
