If you’ve been waiting around gluing Popsicle sticks together in an attempt to make your own miniature IQ vaporizer, it’s time to put the sticks down and get out your wallet because the miniature IQ, or MIQRO as it’s formally known, has finally arrived.

That’s right, the MIQRO is now on sale. The wait is over. It’s actually here.
And just when we thought we knew everything about the new MIQRO, DaVinci, its maker, throws a curve-ball at us: there are two MIQRO bundles to choose from. Here’s what’s up with them.
The MIQRO Explorer’s Collection
The more expensive option, which we’ll tell you about first, is known as the “Explorer’s Collection.” It comes with everything the cheaper bundle comes with and (not surprisingly) more. Here are the extras:
- MIQRO Glove – This is a protective case that wraps around the vaporizer. It can be used while the vaporizer is in use. Think of it as a phone case in the sense that once it’s on, you can still use your phone, or in this case: your vape.
- Grinder Coin – If you’ve ever put a coin in your grinder, then you already know what this is all about. It’s a grinder coin and you stick it in your grinder to help increase the amount of extract or “pollen” that you collect. If you don’t have a pollen catcher on your grinder, you might not have much use for it.
- Carry Can XL – This little stash container for the MIQRO holds not only the vaporizer, but an extra battery and some herbs as well. It’s a hard protective case for everything you cherish.
- Extra 18350 Battery – If you buy a MIQRO, you’re going to want a backup battery or two. With the Explorer’s set, you get one. Just another reason to spend the extra money to get the complete package.
- Carrying Case – This is self explanatory: it’s a carrying case for the MIQRO. It’s a soft case and it has a smell-proof zipper. Has a stash spot for the vape and some pockets to hold your accessories.
At the very-very least, we suggest getting some extra 18350 batteries and the Glove. The batteries will help keep your vapor sessions flowing longer between recharges and the Glove will help keep the vape from getting all scratched up. And frankly, it’s worth keeping pretty because it is, after all, an awesome looking vape.
The Standard Bundle
And then there’s the Standard kit, which includes none of the extras we just mentioned. Actually, it does come with batteries, so there’s that. But it doesn’t come with an extra battery. So you lose that. What it doesn’t come with aside, here’s what it does come with:
- USB Charging Cable – You have to charge it somehow, right?
- Accessory Kit – Just some basics.
- Extended Mouthpiece – This is exactly what it sounds like.
Now here’s the big kicker though: it’s way less money. Well, maybe not way less, but it is considerably cheaper. How much less? $50. That’s what you save. So either you can pickup the Explorer’s Collection for $199 or you can snag a Standard Bundle for $149. Either way you’re getting the vaporizer itself, which is what’s really important. If you have the extra money, we suggest you splurge because some of those extras are well worth the money, especially if you intend on using the MIQRO for an extended period of time.
