Vape Guides

The absolute best portable vaporizer for vaping dry herbs under $150 would have to be the new MIQRO vaporizer by DaVinci. Priced at just under $150, the new MIQRO offers advanced features and powerful vapor production, plus a level of portability that’s hard to find.

Amethyst DaVinci MIQRO Vaporizer

This is the DaVinci MIQRO seen in its Amethyst purple color option.

It’s not great for sharing due to its limited battery life, but for personal use- it’s the best there is. You can read our complete DaVinci MIQRO review to learn more about the vape that we’ve crowned the best portable for dry herbs under $150 or you can just click here to buy it you’re ready to vape like a boss on a budget.

Keep in mind when buying the MIQRO that there are two bundles available. There’s the less expensive bundle that’s just under $150 and then there’s the premium bundle, the Explorer’s Collection, which costs about $200 ($50 more than the standard setup). You definitely don’t need the more expensive kit, but it is nice to have some of the extra accessories that it comes with, especially the “Glove” that helps protect it from getting scratched and dented.

Here are some of the features that the MIQRO boasts:

  • 33% more compact than the DaVinci IQ
  • Zirconium ceramic vapor path for pure vapor
  • Digital controls that are easy to use
  • Smart Paths for session temperature programming
  • Replaceable battery design for quick battery swaps
  • Rechargeable
  • Boost feature for quickly raising the vaping temperature

While there are many more features, we suggest taking a look at our review if you really want to know more about the MIQRO.

Option #2: The Pax

Alternatively, there is one other vaporizer that we consider to be a close runner-up for best dry portable under $150 and that’s the Pax 2. While we feel as if the MIQRO’s vapor production and features are better than the Pax 2’s, the Pax 2 is in fact priced at just under $150 and it brings to the table a feature that the MIQRO simply does not have and that’s the ability to vaporize concentrates with its extract insert — a small attachment that transforms the Pax 2 from a portable dry herb vaporizer into a portable concentrate vaporizer. A close contender to the MIQRO in terms of overall quality and portability, but just not quite as good. But for anyone that needs a vape that can handle dry herbs AND concentrates, well, the Pax 2 is basically as good as it gets for less than $150. You can buy the Pax 2 online from this store.
