We love it when a vape company actually makes a product worth buying and that’s just what Vessel Brand has done with their new rugged as hell vape pens made for oils. We had the chance to test one out and were blown away with the quality of the battery that they produced so we put together this Vessel vape battery review for all of you to get a feel for how solid these new batteries are.

California Design

If you haven’t heard of Vessel yet, you need to. There new vape batteries, which don’t come with cartridges at this time, are really built to last. They’re apparently manufactured in China, as most vape batteries are, but they’re designed in California.

Tough As Nails

Protected Connection

Each Vessel vape pen has a protective sleeve that wraps around the connection where the cartridge and battery thread together so you don’t have to worry much about the threading or connection getting damaged. Of course, you do still want to check your cartridges before attaching them to make sure that they’re not leaking or caked in sticky residue that could cause you problems.

Anti-Slip Grip

The exterior of the vape where you wrap your hand around it has a nice anti-slip surface that its manufacturer calls a “knurled grip design.” This helps prevent you from accidentally dropping it while you’re holding it, a nice little feature that we definitely don’t see enough of in other vape pens.

Surprisingly Rugged

While some vape pens we’ve used definitely feel like they’re on the fragile side, this is one vape pen that pushes durability to the extreme with its tough, anodized aluminum body that feels like it could take a serious beating. While we haven’t dropped it yet, possibly in part due to its anti-slip surface, we’re pretty sure it’d still work just fine because it’s seriously that tough.

This is one vape that we’ll definitely be taking on some hikes.

Temperature Control

Three Temperature Settings

We appreciate having some different temperatures to choose from but we don’t want to get lost in endless options when we’re just trying to get our vape on, which is why the three temperature options that the Vessel provides are more than enough. And when we say “more than enough,” we mean just that. We don’t even use all three. Truth be told, we almost never use the middle temperature setting because we’re either chilling out and puffing on it while it’s set to its lowest temperature setting or we’re maxing it out taking fat rips to get the job done fast.

Variable Voltage

For those wondering, the three temperature settings, or rather voltage settings, are 2.8V, 3.2, and 3.6V, the highest being the hottest. To cycle through the different voltages, you just click the main (and only) button three times in a row. It’ll blink showing you a different color to let you know which voltage setting you’re on. The 2.8V setting is a blue light, the 3.2V setting is a yellow light, and the 3.6V setting is a purple light.

Surprisingly Powerful

Battery For Days

The really surprising part about this vape is that it’s only a 240 mAh battery, but it literally lasts for days. Who does that? How is that even possible? Seriously though, it lasts for multiple days without recharging. But eventually, as all rechargeable batteries require at some point, it does need to be recharged. When that time comes, yet another awesome feature becomes apparent: magnetic charging without the need to remove the cartridge. That last part is particularly cool because you don’t have to unscrew the cartridge to charge it, you just attach it to the charger, which snaps into place magnetically, and you charge it up. This probably doesn’t seem like anything to get excited over for some of you reading this but the truth is that most vape pens we’ve tested require you to remove the cartridge to screw in the charger in its place. With these new Vessel vapes, you don’t have to do that and that is pretty much awesome.

Rips Hard

One of the main reasons we love this vape–beyond its rugged appeal, ease of use, multiple temperature settings, and long-lasting battery–is its hard-hitting vapor. If you have good oil cartridges that are 510 threaded, this is a vape you’ll love plugging them into. It hits like a straight up beast on the highest voltage, which is why we typically use it on its lowest voltage. But if you’re into that, fat rips to the dome, then this vape is what’s up. You’re going to love it.
